Indian artist lands in Disney land

Disney said they are intersted in my work and would make it the centrepiece of their new theme park," says Singh.<br /><br />A Panoramic view of Himalayas depicts actual terrain, topography and feautres in map form, says Singh, who specialises in making Panoramas.<br /><br />Next, Singh wants to gift a panorama covering whole of Pakistan and Afghanistan to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh so that he can hand it over to Musharraf during his visit there.<br /><br />"I wish to show a bird''s eye view of Pakistan to General Musharraf," he says.<br /><br />The Delhi-based artist''s love with panoramas started at a very early age and is...<br /><br /></div> </div><div class="section2"><div class="Normal">.... a well known face for the defence establishment. <br /><br />"I have been working with various defence institutes for quite a long time now. They draw digital maps with the help of my panoramas," says the 70-year old artist who has also made panoramas of Alps.<br /><br />Singh also directed serials like the Himalaya Darshan and a film on Kashmir where he used his paintings.<br /><br />"I have visited Himalayas and it was a thrilling experience,'' he says.<br /><br />Singh''s giant size panorama at Disney''s theme park will provide detailed information about the Himalayan ranges and mentally prepare visitors for a high speed train ride through the towering peaks of the mountains.<br /><br />The panorama will have arrows pointing out from it showing different features of Himalayas, leading visitors to different experiences of the mountains, says Singh.<br /><br />The Himalayan adventure ride will also take them through various tunnels into the realms of the monstrous creature called Yeti The Abominable Snowman. <br /><br />And the intent is to blur the line between fact and fantasy for a compelling experience, he says. </div> </div>
