Mizoram gears up to combat HMPV
The Mizoram government formed a committee to monitor the spread of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) and rapid response teams at state and district levels to tackle the situation, health minister Lalrinpuii announced.

Two suspected cases in Nagpur

Ahmedabad infant recovers
A section of Ahmedabad's civil hospital being prepared for patients of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV). An infant from Dungarpur, Rajasthan, was treated for HMPV symptoms in Ahmedabad. According to Dr Nirav Patel, the child was in good health and reassured the public that HMPV is a self-limiting infection.
