Prime minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced India's decision to provide $250 million to Kenya for modernisation of its agriculture sector following his wide-ranging talks with visiting Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto. (Reuters)

Addressing the menace of terrorism, PM Modi said that India and Kenya are of the view that terrorism is most serious challenge to humanity. He further said that India and Kenya have decided to enhance counter-terror cooperation. (AP)

Appreciating India's digital progress, Kenyan President William Ruto said that Kenya has a lot to learn from India. He stated that he has sent Kenya's Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to India to learn about digital ID and digitising government services. He said that Kenya will be signing an agreement with India in the digital space. (ANI)

Kenyan President further said that "We are looking at how we can create partnership in the space of rural development, especially agriculture. We'll be looking at a space of how we can share in manufacture of vaccines, both for animal and human. We're looking at what we can do about genomics." (Reuters)

Terming India and Kenya as "great friends," Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto called for the need to consolidate the relationship between the two countries, which had diplomatic engagement at different levels since 1948. (AP)
