Congress undertakes a major reshuffle, appointing 66 secretaries ... Read More
In another reshuffle, Congress Friday appointed 66 secretaries attached to AICC general secretaries who manage the states for leadership, and named eight joint secys in various organisational functions. Pranav Jha and Gaurav Pandhi are secretaries in the office of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, and Netta D'Souza, Naveen Sharma and Neeraj Kundan will be secretaries attached to the AICC organisation under general secy K C Venugopal.

The rejig of secretaries has lifted the uncertainty over the management of election-bound states of Maharashtra, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Jharkhand. Former hockey star and Punjab MLA Pargat Singh and Surender Sharma have got the charge of Uttarakhand, and Danish Abrar and Sukhwinder Singh Danny are secretaries in Delhi. The list is likely to be followed by appointment of some AICC general secretaries, which will complete the long-pending reshuffle in the Congress organisation.
