IMD unveils special webpage for Kumbh weather

NEW DELHI: India Meteorological Department has developed a dedicated webpage to provide hourly, daily and weekly weather updates for the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj and neighbouring cities, including Ayodhya, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur and Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh.

The link of the special service is also available on IMD's homepage. The Maha Kumbh began Monday and will continue until Feb 26. The special web page provides information on temperature, wind chill, wind speed and direction, humidity and air quality. In its latest forecast, IMD on Monday predicted generally cloudy skies with continuing foggy conditions in the region over the next two to three days.
