IIMCAA Connections meet held in Patna and Bengaluru, alumni felicitated
BENGALURU/PATNA: The Karnataka and Bihar Chapters of the IIMC Alumni Association hosted their annual alumni meet, ‘Connections,’ in Bengaluru and Patna, respectively.
The reunions witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni across both states, offering a cherished opportunity to reconnect and reminisce about their time at the institution.
In Bengaluru, Karnataka Chapter President and senior IAS officer Rajender Kataria encouraged members to contribute to social causes, both individually and collectively, reinforcing their shared responsibility to give back to society. He, along with IIMCAA Global President Simrat Gulati, felicitated Silver Jubilee batch members Miriam Ruth and Miranda Yambem in recognition of their milestone achievement.
The Bengaluru meet was attended by former IIMCAA Presidents Kalyan Ranjan and Prasad Sanyal, General Secretary Deeksha Saksena, Treasurer Animesh Biswas, Karnataka’s Organisation Secretary Chaitanya Krishnaraju, Treasurer Kiran Sharma, former Karnataka Chapter President Ramesh Muniyappa, among others.
In Patna, Bihar Chapter President Bhola Nath, along with Pramod Mukesh, Zonal Coordinator Manoj Kumar, Raj Kishor Lal, and General Secretary Saqib Khan, felicitated several alumni who have joined Bihar Government service as District Public Relations Officers after clearing BPSC exams. The chapter also felicitated Silver Jubilee batch alumnus Uma Shankar Roy and several others who participated in a blood donation drive.
The Bihar Chapter announced plans to launch a plantation drive during the rainy season to help conserve Bihar’s dwindling tree cover. Chapter Treasurer Swati Savarn, Dr Ajay Kumar, Ajay Nandan, Vikram Goyal, Rajnish, Gaurav Dikshit, Rahul Kumar, Ritesh Verma, Vidur Bharti, Prem Chand, Kiran Kumari, Karuna Kriti, Meghna, Gunjan Kumar, Tapish Kumar, Athar Imam Khan, Ranjit Ranjan, Afzal Alam, Jaseem Ul Haque, and other alumni from various districts of the state attended the event.
