IBM staff detained in Malaysia

BANGALORE: An employee of Bangalore-based software major IBM has been detained by Malaysian authorities, company sources said on Sunday. Narendra Babu, working in the Planning Department of IBM, was detained while he was boarding a flight back home on Friday evening, the sources here said. The reason for detention of Babu was not known, they said. An IBM spokesman declined to comment.
