Hurriyat to induct 2 more separatist groups

SRINAGAR: Dispelling the impression that it was an alliance of only Kashmiri separatist groups, Hurriyat Conference has opened its doors to two outfits including a Jammu-based separatist organisation to make the conglomerate more broadbased.

SRINAGAR: Dispelling the impression that it was an alliance of only Kashmiri separatist groups, Hurriyat Conference has opened its doors to two outfits including a Jammu-based separatist organisation to make the conglomerate more broadbased.
Two outfits to be inducted in the 23-party amalgam are National Front of Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Jammu-based People''s Movement of Ghulam Muhammad Mir, Hurriyat sources said.

The amalgam has already despatched the induction letters to the two organisations and was waiting for their response, they said.
The decision is part of the Hurriyat''s efforts to include other major and minor groups within its fold. It is howeveer silent on the inclusion of Shabir Ahmed Shah led Democratic Freedom Party and Jammu-based Freedom Movement of Sa''adullah Tantray.
