Hurriyat leaders’ premises among 5 locations raided in Kashmir in terror funding case

SRINAGAR: The J&K State Investigation Agency on Tuesday conducted raids at five locations in three districts of Kashmir, including the residences of two Hurriyat leaders in Srinagar, in connection with a terror funding case.

The premises of Hurriyat leaders Bilal Sidique in Rajbagh locality and Bashir Molvi at Alochibagh were raided early morning, an official said.

Searches were also conducted at other locations in Kupwara, Baramulla and Srinagar districts “to unearth the logistic and funding support channels of terrorism, emanating from Pakistan and its ISI network”, an official statement said.

The search orders were issued earlier by a TADA court in Srinagar.
