A high-profile case ended in an acquittal on July 25 – former Haryana minister Gopal Goyal Kanda was acquitted by a court of the charge of abetting the suicide of ex-airhostess Geetika Sharma who was employed with his now-defunct airline.
Sharma, who used to work for Kanda’s MDLR Airlines and was later elevated as a director of one of his companies, had been found dead on August 5, 2012, at her home in Delhi’s Ashok Vihar.
