Sudha Murthy is not just the wife of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. Her long list of published books written both in English and in her mother tongue Kannada are part of every home in India. But most people don’t know that Sudha Murthy is much more than a prolific celebrated author. She's been a teacher of engineering and has the distinction of being the first female engineer to be hired at TELCO, which was India's largest automobile manufacturer. She's the chairperson of the Infosys foundation.
