The Summerhill School, founded in England in 1921 by Scottish teacher and author Alexander Sutherland Neil, inspired the free school movement. His book, “A Dominie’s Five” was translated by Gijubhai Badheka, a renowned educator who is credited with helping introduce the Montessori education method in India. Badheka titled the translation, “Rakhdu Toli”.
