How anger over Delhi gang-rape sparked a book about women athletes

Sohini Chattopadhyay is a writer, journalist and a national award-winning film critic with more than 15 years of experience. Her book, The Day I Became A Runner, crafts a woman's history of India from the late 1930s to the current through the lives of nine women athletes.
She won the New India Foundation fellowship for this project.
