CHANDIGARH: Amid escalating violence in the Jat agitation, houses of two cabinet ministers in Haryana's BJP government - Captain Abhimanyu and Om Prakash Dhankar - were targetted by anti-social elements in Rohtak and Jhajjar respectively on Saturday.
A mob set the house of Abhimanyu, who is the state finance minister, in Rohtak on fire on Saturday. A similar attempt was made on Friday.

There are three buildings in the minister's property in Rohtak which was set on fire. Nobody was staying in the buildings where the incident occurred.
After Friday's fire, Abhimanyu had stated that he was more hurt because of the casualty in the township (during firing by the Border Security Force) than the attack on his residence. "I have always been in favour of reservation to the Jats," the minister said on Friday.
On Saturday morning, a mob of thousands of people went to the house of state agriculture minister Dhankar in Jhajjar and vandalised it. When the incident happened, two policemen were there on the premises besides some members of the house-keeping staff, said a close associate of the minister.
Sources said it was difficult to identify agitators and anti-social elements in the mob. Sources said the agitators come to Rohtak and Jhajjar in tractor-trailers from neighbouring villages.
