Hosabale praises community participation to fight Covid-19

has acknowledged the social benefit by different communities amid the Covid-19 pandemic which he said, fortified the bond between them to connect hands to battle for a cause in spite of strict self-isolation standards. Hosabale is on a four-day visit to the state capital where he will audit the help works attempted by the Sangh Parivar and intentional associations of saffron bunches ahead of a conceivable third wave of the widespread.

"During the pandemic, the society created many new things. It is said that necessity is the mother of all invention. Man creates new things according to the need. Our culture has told us not to be afraid during any crisis. During these trying times, our society acted accordingly, we are not afraid, we all fought this calamity stoically. As a society we continued the work of service as a spiritual practice," said Hosabale addressing the workers at Thengdi Bhavan, on Thursday.

The RSS deputy arrived in the state capital late on Wednesday night to participate in the Independence Day function to be organised by the Sangh Parivar and to review the Covid-19 relief works. During four days, he is also likely to meet top BJP leaders to discuss state politics and issues related to tribal welfare and

reservation, said sources.

Hosabale recently hit headlines when he said that reservation is a tool for affirmative action and should continue as long as a particular section of the society experiences "inequality." The RSS is a strong supporter of reservation, he added. His visit to Madhya Pradesh will further decide the BJP's next plan for OBCs and tribals amid hearings on 27 reservation for OBCs in the High Court.

The RSS deputy also met some community groups on the first day of his interaction with the workers. RSS leaders disclosed that Hosabale met distinguished citizens of 18 community groups from different provinces of the state.

Promoting the concept of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the RSS leader also encouraged the workers for self-reliance and promote Swadeshi. "Swami Vivekananda has said "Be and Make" (Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life). A good volunteer is always insistent about

," said Hosabale.

He said, "Even in the context of skill development, we should keep trying to learn. Hon'ble Sudarshan ji tried to learn every subject. Learning has no relation with age. That's why he was always learning new subjects and making them according to his work."

The RSS is organizing nationwide workers' training to face the possible third wave of Covid-19 and these trained workers will go to about 2.5 lakh places to help the people. As of now, 27,166 RSS shakhas have started functioning across the country. The Sangh Parivar is also moving ahead from virtual shakhas to conduct physical shakhas in each district.

The training is likely to be completed by the end of August and September. After this, more people and organisations will be involved in the campaign through public awareness in every village and township. In this training, necessary precautions and measures have been included for children and mothers especially to prevent them from Covid-19.
