Headmistress sexually assaults teacher

CHENNAI: A 40-year-old school headmistress was booked for sexually assaulting a 22-year-old teacher after spiking her drinks when she visited her house to discuss the half-yearly examinations at Injambakkam.

Police said the teacher joined the school only five days ago, in her complaint who claimed that she blacked out after consuming the drink offered by the headmistress. When she regained consciousness, she found herself semi-naked with visible injuries all over her body. Later, she approached the Thiruvanmiyur police .

The all-women police registered a case and arrested the headmistress.

The police team produced her before a magistrate court in the city. Later, the court granted her bail, and she was released.
