HC rejects RK Sharma's bail

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court today refused to entertain the bail application of suspended IPS officer R K Sharma, who is facing trial in the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case. Justice BD Ahmed said there is no need to issue any directions in the matter as the trial is going on expeditiously. Sharma's application was "dimissed as withdrawn" after his counsel sought permission to withdraw the application.
