CHANDIGARH: Member of the core committee of Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) and former MP Dharam Pal Malik on Sunday said that if pegged together, the amount involved in land scams across the state during the six-year regime of chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would be much more than the total of spectrum or ISRO scams.
In Panchkula to review the arrangements for party's Janhit Tractor Yatra, Malik, while interacting with media persons at the residence of district president Shashi Sharma minced no words in demanding a special team of high court judges to probe scams.

"You see the observations given by high court in Gurgaon's land scam. Then the recent expose regarding release of lands to various business houses after compensation was awarded and recent move of recommending scrapping of Nano City project. The project was scrapped as it had failed to benefit a particular chunk of colonizers who failed to have land holdings,'' said Malik. Intensifying his attack on Congress and chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Malik asserted, "It is due to politicians like them that the common man has dubbed politicians as corrupt only,'' he said. He sought immediate sacking of foreign minister for his speech debacle.
Earlier, addressing workers' meeting at Shashi Sharma's residence, Malik elaborated on the plans and issues to be taken up during Haryana Janhit Yatra. 'Biased development of Rohtak and law and order situation tops the list of five issues that we would take up during our yatra.' he said.
