Hang Malik, he shouldn’t have been free for 32 years: says slain IAF officer’s wife

should be hanged, though it’s a travesty that he “roamed freely” for 32 years, said Nirmal Khanna, wife of squadron leader Ravi Khanna, one of the four IAF officers killed by the

Kashmiri

separatist’s banned outfit in the 1990s.

“I have lived every day under the burden that my husband’s killer roams freely. I am hurt that Malik was alive after killing my husband. Justice delayed is justice denied,” she said in Jammu on Wednesday, reacting to an NIA court sentencing the JKLF chief to life in prison for terrorism and terror funding.

Demanding the death penalty, she said: “There should be only one rule for anti-nationals and that is ‘khoon ka badla khoon’. I demand blood for blood. Malik is a terrorist and should be sentenced to death for murdering my husband.”

Former J&K DGP Shesh Paul Vaid said full justice was yet to be delivered because Malik has blood of

in his hands. “His prominent crimes of cold-blooded murders of Indian Air Force officers and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits is still awaiting justice,” he tweeted.
