NEW DELHI:
Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh saw an aggressive campaigning by both the BJP and Congress for the assembly polls and the bitter war of words continued till the last day of the election process.
However on Monday, the two defeated BJP chief ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan were a symbol of grace and sportsmanship during the oath-taking ceremony of
Kamal Nath and
Ashok Gehlot, respectively.
In Madhya Pradesh, former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the three-time chief minister of the state, was photographed with his successor and Jyotiraditya Scindia with arms raised in the air in a jubiliant mood at the event.

Vasundhara Raje could also be seen smiling and meeting Congress leaders cheerfully at the oath ceremony of Ashok Gehlot as the CM of the state.
Raje was seen hugging political rival and her nephew Jyotiraditya Scindia at the event which was admired on social media who called her 'graceful'.
The former Rajasthan also shook hands with her successor Ashok Gehlot with a wide smile on her face during the ceremony.
