Goa liberation: How routed Portugal played Russian roulette

Indian forces vanquished the Portuguese in Goa, but the colonisers scurried to the UN, flailing about for support from the West.
Even after India mounted a land, sea, and air attack forcing the Portuguese out in December 1961, the colonisers tried to invoke the UN charter in their favour as a last-ditch attempt to hang on to Goa.
