NEW DELHI: Home minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the G20 leaders’s declaration marked a significant step towards a better future for all.
“My warmest congratulations to PM Narendra Modi and the member nations of the G20 on the adoption of the New Delhi G20 Leaders' Summit Declaration,” Shah said in a post on X.
The home minister said, “In pursuit of our civilisational goal of promoting the welfare of humankind, the esteemed G20 leaders have arrived at a consensus to build bridges of trust among nations through diplomacy and cooperation.”
Earlier, PM Narendra Modi said history has been created with the adoption of the New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration. “United in consensus and spirit, we pledge to work collaboratively for a better, more prosperous, and har monious future. My gratitude to all fellow G20 members for their support and cooperation,” Modi said.
Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the adoption of the declaration with 100% consensus among member states is a testimony of PM Narendra Modi’s statesmanship and success of India’s presidency.
“PM Modi’s call of human-centric globalisation leaving none behind and moving ahead with the spirit of #SabkaSaath has resonated with the world. India’s Presidency under the leadership of PM Modi has made the #G20 family more inclusive and strengthened India’s stature as a credible voice of the Global South,” the Union minister said.
