NEW DELHI: FBI chief Robert Mueller will on Tuesday meet home minister P Chidambaram, national security advisor M K Narayanan and other top functionaries here and discuss security issues, including counter terrorism, with them.
Mueller's visit comes after India and the US shared details of intelligence and investigations in the 26/11 Mumbai terror strikes, a joint effort which forced Pakistan to admit that a part of the conspiracy was hatched on its soil.
The FBI had helped investigators of the 26/11 Mumbai attack in critical analysis of the technical evidence including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and other details pertaining to the Global Positioning System of the satellite phones used by the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
On its part, India allowed FBI to go through all evidence related to the country's worst terrorist attack. India also allowed FBI detectives to question the accused in custody.
