Family says dead CBI officer was being harassed
NEW DELHI: As the police were still trying to solve the mystery shrouding the death of a CBI inspector, with the agency maintaining a deathly silence, the family members of Sultan Singh alleged on Friday that the "ace investigator" was being harassed by his seniors, including an officer of the rank of SP. But they found it difficult to believe that he could have committed suicide.

They pointed out that no suicide note had been found.
He was one of the officers investigating the disproportionate assets case against former UP chief secretary A P Singh.
Sultan Singh's gold rings, cash and personal diary had not been found at the site from where his body was recovered and the family cited this to back their contention.
While Singh's body was found at railway tracks near Modi Flour Mill at Okhla on Wednesday around 5pm and his identity card was also recovered from the spot, the family was informed about the death late next morning.
