Entrepreneurship awareness camp in Trichy on Feb 6

TRICHY: Trichy District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (TIDITSSIA) jointly with the MSME department of the union government has scheduled to organise a workshop for promoting entrepreneurship awareness for young entrepreneurs in Trichy city on February 6 (Tuesday).
The workshop planned at the TIDITSSIA office in Ariyamangalam Sidco industrial estate will highlight the supportive schemes available for young entrepreneurs.Organisers said that entrepreneurs with Udyam certification and those who have undergone basic entrepreneurship skill training can attend the workshop. To enhance the domestic and global competitiveness of MSMEs, the workshop would teach various lean manufacturing techniques for entrepreneurs to reduce wastage in manufacturing, inventory management, and energy conservation methods.
TIDITSSIA secretary S Gopalakrishnan said that the participants who complete the workshop scheduled between 10 am and 3.30 pm on Tuesday would receive a certificate on lean manufacturing technology. Organisers said that the workshop is free of cost, but registration is mandatory. Interested entrepreneurs and aspirants were requested to contact 0431-2440119.
