NEW DELHI: India on Thursday termed the deportation of Dawood Ibrahim''s brother Iqbal Sheikh Kaskar and Ejaz Pathan a big achievement for its police authorities.
"It (the deporation) is a big achievement for the police," Minister of State for Home I D Swami said here.
Swami said people who had fled India after committing heinous crimes like the Mumbai blasts should be brought to book.

He said the Indian government is making every effort to bring back criminals who had fled the country after committing offences.
"We have even provided the list to Pakistan, where some criminals are hiding and being protected by Pakistan," the minister said.
Swami said he was confident that all the criminals hiding abroad, including those in Pakistan, would be brought back and dealt with by the country''s judicial system.
