NEW DELHI: Intensifying their protests against police firing on Gurjars in Rajasthan, a prominent body of the community on Saturday night decided to observe a 'Delhi Bandh' on Monday. The decision was taken at a late night meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Gurjar Vikas Sanghatan here convened by a prominent community leader and MP from Haryana, Avtar Singh Bharana.
We have decided to observe a Bandh in the capital against the continuing violence against Gurjars by the police and are demanding the imposition of President's rule in the state, Bharana said after the marathon meeting.
