India's daily new Covid-19 cases reported a decline on Friday as the country recorded 1,790 less cases as compared to Thursday. Down from yesterday's 1,34,154 cases, India today reported 1,32,364 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the country's infection tally to 2,84,41,986, according to the health ministry. Covid-19: Govt seals deal for 300 million vaccine doses from Biological-E

The Union health ministry said on Thursday it has inked a deal with domestic vaccine maker Biological-E for 30 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses. These vaccine doses will be manufactured and stockpiled by M/s Biological-E from August-December 2021.
