NEW DELHI: Congress on Tuesday released the list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha and assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
For the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the party has fielded Pulusu Satyanarayana reddy from Visakhapatnam, Vegi Venkatesh for Anakapalle, Lavanya Kavuri from Eluru, Garnepudi Sudhakar from Narasaraopet, Koppila Raju from Nellore and Dr Chinta Mohan from Tirupati constituency.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced that the voting in Andhra Pradesh will take place in a single phase on May 13 for the Lok Sabha elections. Voting in Andhra Pradesh will be held for 25 Lok Sabha seats. INDIA bloc, led by the Congress, will be contesting against the BJP-TDP-JSP alliance in the state.
