NEW DELHI: Three people were killed and two were left injured after a building collapsed on Sunday in Karnataka.
The incident occurred when a commercial building opposite the bus stand in Belur town, Hassan district, collapsed.
Belur police rushed to the scene upon receiving information and launched rescue operations to save those trapped under the debris. Officials worked urgently to clear the rubble and locate survivors.
Visuals from the site showed the extent of the destruction, with rescue teams and locals assisting in the efforts. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse.
