Charter flight, grounded in France over `human trafficking' suspicion to land in Mumbai soon with about 280 Indians onboard

MUMBAI:A charter plane carrying 303 Indians bound for Nicaragua, grounded in Vatry, France for a human trafficking investigation, is expected to land in Mumbai in the early hours of Tuesday. Two Indians have been detained in France, and some others have sought asylum.

The Airbus A340, operating Legend Airlines flight LAL-1216, departed Vatry and is expected to land in Mumbai around 4:20 am. Despite a flight tracking app showing a halt in Fujairah, airport sources indicate a direct flight to Mumbai with approximately 280 passengers.
