CCTV fails in Tamil Nadu strongroom

Two days after a CCTV camera in a strongroom malfunctioned in TN's Nilgiris, a similar incident in Erode's strongroom disrupted live streaming from a camera for an hour early Monday, prompting DMK to write to the CEC to prevent a security breach.
One CCTV camera, of the 220 in a strongroom in IRTT engineering college, malfunctioned at midnight but was restored within an hour, said the Erode district collector and election officer Raja Gopal Sunkara."A technical error caused the malfunction," Sunkara added.
