On January 23, Hindu right-wingers barged into the FTII campus and stirred trouble over an event around the consecration of the Ram temple. Here’s what the students say unfolded

On January 23 — a day after the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya — there was violence reported at the campus of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.
The students say members of the Hindu Bandhav Samajik Sanstha barged in and attacked them over a banner that read: ‘Remember Babri, Death of Constitution’, and hosting a photo exhibition chronicling the history of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and a screening of the acclaimed film Ram ke Naam by Anand Patwardhan, among other events.
