In Govt Run companies the productivity is very low which increases cost of production .Thus making things costlier or if want to sell cheaper will incur loss which gets compensated by more taxEarlier when we would buyAny product say a TVTax use to be 16% excise CSt2% Sale Tax 13% to 15% For this was tax on tax cascading effect total tax was 32%Now max tax rate is 28%on many items tax component has come down from 32% to 18% so on Thus the cost has come down Even with lower tac receipts the Govt is doing so much infrastructure building for they don't have to finance/ compensate the loss making Public sector companiesSamjhe IndianRead allPost comment
