BJP's new working president: PM Modi congratulates Nitin Nabin; calls him 'young & industrious'
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Bihar minister Nitin Nabin, who was appointed working BJP president to replace incumbent party chief JP Nadda.
PM Modi called Nabin a "young and industrious leader with rich organisational experience and has an impressive record as MLA as well as Minister in Bihar for multiple terms".
"He has diligently worked to fulfil people’s aspirations. He is known for his humble nature and grounded style of working. I am confident that his energy and dedication will strengthen our Party in the times to come. Congratulations to him on becoming the BJP National Working President," PM Modi wrote on X.
Union home minister Amit Shah also congratulated Nabin and praised him for fulfilling "every responsibility of the organisation with complete dedication and success".
"Whether as the National General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, or as the State President of the State Youth Wing in Bihar, or as the State In-charge for Chhattisgarh, he has fulfilled every responsibility of the organisation with complete dedication and success. In Bihar, having served as a five-time MLA and as a minister in the state government, he brings long-standing experience of working among the people," Shah wrote on X.
The son of late BJP leader Nabin Kishore Sinha, Nitin Nabin began his political career in student politics through the ABVP before building a strong organisational base within Patna’s BJP unit.
He entered electoral politics in the late 2000s and won his first assembly election in 2010. Since then, he has been re-elected consecutively from Bankipur, emerging as a prominent urban and infrastructure-focused leader.
Nabin's appointment was announced on the day the party elected Pankaj Choudhary as UP state president.

Stark contrast amongst BJP and the parties controlled by dynasts like pappu, toti chor, chara chor, udhauddin, taklu stalin where everyone knows that their incompetant sons are going to lead the party unlike BJP where a chaiwala can lead the party.Read allPost comment
