CHANDIGARH: Launching a sharp attack on the BJP and the INLD, Congress and MP from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda accused Adani Group of being hand-in-glove with the centre and said the BJP was misleading the people on the issue of per capita income of Haryana as well.
In a statement issued on Monday Deepender Hooda said the Adani group has links with so many leaders of the BJP.

He charged that under a conspiracy the power supply by Adani to Haryana had been stopped. He said the Haryana government had signe a pact with the Adani group for power supply to Haryana, but the company suddenly stopped its power supply.
Afterwards the Haryana government raised the matter in the Tribunal which gave its decision in favour of the state. The Tribunal has now ordered the Adani group to immediately supply power to Haryana. As a result Haryana will get 1424 MW of power, he said.
Deepender said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been giving statement in the public rallies in Haryana that the state was number 8 in the per capita income in the country. He accused Modi of misleading the people. ``Either the Prime Minister was telling a lie or else his Finance Minister Arun jaitley. He said in his statement on July 9 in the Lok Sabha, while presenting the Economic Survey of the country, Jaitley said Haryana was number one in the per capita income of the country," he said.
Deeender said it was difficult to understand why Modi was misleading the people in this regard. By issuing such statements the Centre has tried to insult Haryana, because it was a great effort by the people of the state that Haryana had become number one in the per capita income in the country.
Taking a pot shot at former Chief Minister and INLD Supremo, Om Prakash Chautala serving a jail term in the JBT appointment scam, Deepender Hooda said it was rather funny that he had given a statement that he will take oath of the Haryana Chief Minister from Jail. The MP said out on bail, Chautala was breaking law. Chautala has proved that he breaks law either in the jail or outside.
"When they are in power they not just break rules, but also make their people do the same," he said.
