BJP denies poll talks between Shah, Bhagwat

NEW DELHI: The BJP has denied that party president Amit Shah discussed preparations for the forthcoming state polls with RSS chief Mohanrao Bhagwat.
“I emphasize that no such discussion took place between the RSS chief Mohanrao Bhgawat and BJP chief Amit Shah,“ said BJP general secretary Ram Madhav.
Reacting to a report in TOI saying that RSS expressed its inability to help BJP in the assembly elections slated later this year, Madhav said the issue did not come up during the conversation between Bhagwat and Shah.
