NEW DELHI: Bidar Lok Sabha constituency, one of the 28 parliamentary constituencies in Karnataka, India, was formed in 1962. Initially reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates until 2008, it now encompasses the entire Bidar district and a portion of Kalaburagi district.

The constituency is divided into eight Assembly segments: Chincholi, Aland, Basavakalyan, Humnabad, Bidar South, Bidar, Bhalki, and Aurad. Currently, the BJP holds a majority of the seats (5), while the Congress holds the remaining seats.
