The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) maintained its stronghold in both elections, with Parbhubhai Nagarbhai Vasava emerging victorious in 2019. His victory was substantial, securing 742,273 votes and reaffirming the BJP's resonance with the electorate.
In 2014, the BJP's victory was secured by Vasava Parbhubhai Nagarbhai, who garnered 622,769 votes. His Indian National Congress (INC) counterpart, Chaudhari Tusharbhai Amarsinhbhai, trailed behind, reflecting the BJP's dominance in the region.
Fast forward to 2019, Parbhubhai Nagarbhai Vasava's electoral triumph continued, with a notable victory margin of 215,447 votes. Chaudhari Dr Tusharbhai Amarsinhbhai from the INC stood second with 526,826 votes, indicating the enduring presence of both political parties in the electoral fray.
