Bangalore North: DV Sadananda Gowda of BJP defeated Krishna Byregowda of Congress in Bangalore North Lok Sabha constituency, according to the latest trends.
After the latest round of counting, DV Sadananda Gowda has received 8,24,500 votes while his Congress rival Krishna Byregowda has got 6,76,982 votes.
Overall, the BJP won 302 seats, while the Congress won 52 constituencies, as per trends at 12:44 PM.

The major candidates in the Bangalore North Lok Sabha Constituency are Indian National Congress’s Krishna Byregowda, D.V. Sadananda Gowda of BJP, Abdul Azeez of the Karnataka Pragnyavantha Janatha Party and Syed Hydri Babloo of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
This constituency includes eight assembly segments i.e. Byatarayanapura, K. R. Puram, Dasarahalli, Yeshvanthapura, Malleshwaram, Mahalakshmi Layout, Pulakeshinagar, and Hebbal. Currently, Bangalore North seat is held by D. V. Sadananda Gowda of the BJP who won Lok Sabha election 2014 defeating Congress candidate C. Narayanaswamy. It is one of the Bharatiya Janta Party stronghold seats in the state of Karnataka.
