At UN, India slams Pakistan for targeting civilians
Govt slammed Pakistan at the UN for making baseless allegations against India, saying Pakistan had been deliberately targeting Indian civilians, religious places and medical facilities. India's permanent representative P Harish said the global community must come together on zero tolerance for terrorism.
During a debate on protection of civilians in armed conflict, Harish said Pakistan had repeatedly used civilian cover to advance the cause of terrorism, and for such a country to participate in a discussion on protection of civilians is an affront to global community.
