It appears that the state elections are won by the state or local parties because people think that they will get a better deal from the local or state party. Unfortunately, because of infighting at the state level, as is obvious in Bihar, the people suffer as the local parties are too busy trying to keep their position. It would be wiser for a state to vote a national party so that they can get better access at the national level!
