Arvind Kejriwal is set to attend the swearing-in ceremony of
HD Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru on Wednesday which is likely to be projected as a show of the "unity of the opposition."
Sources in Delhi CM office said that Kumaraswamy called up Kejriwal on Monday to invite him to his swearing-in likely to be attended by many of the country’s opposition heavyweights. Earlier Kejriwal was invited to attend Kumaraswamy’s swearing-in by former PM HD Devegowda.
Since AAP and Congress are locked in political battle in the national capital, AAP national convener Kejriwal attendance at the swearing-in ceremony of Kumaraswamy, who is backed by Congress, will be keenly watched in national political circles.
