Reddeppa is the present MP of the constituency representing Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party.

During the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, N. Reddeppa of YSRCP emerged victorious, securing the seat with a comfortable margin of 137,271 votes. Reddeppa garnered 686,792 votes, commanding a vote share of 52.00%, triumphing over Naramalli Siva Prasad from TDP, who received 549,521 votes, accounting for 41.64% of the total votes cast.

The Chittoor Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to vote on 13th May 2024, with the Election Commission announcing results on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
