Anantnag attack: Class-10 student succumbs at SKIMS

SRINAGAR: Within 24 hours of being shot at and injured by terrorists at Wanihama village in Anantnag district of J&K, Class-10 student Sahil Bashir Dar succumbed to his injuries at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) here on Thursday evening.

The terrorists had fired upon Sahil on Wednesday evening, leaving him critically injured. He was immediately shifted to GMC Anantnag, from where he was referred to SKIMS for advanced treatment. The 15-year-old, who had a bullet in his neck, breathed his last while undergoing treatment, a hospital source said.
