An economy without migrant labour?

As migrant labourers head back home, industries and cities are finding it tough to manage without them.

In India one out of every four labourers is a migrant. They are among the most vulnerable parts of the informal sector, which makes up 80% of workforce. These workers are an integral part of the economy and most infrastructure in the cities is built on their backs. With most of them headling home, various sectors are finding it tough to operate.

Mango ripens, but no one to pluck
SURAT: Whether mango lovers would be able to gorge on their favourite Valsadi hafoos (alphonso) this season is a big question now.
