RAIPUR: Union coal minister Shriprakash Jaiswal on Monday said about 95% of missing documents of the alleged coal block allocation scam have been traced and they would be handed over to the
CBI by September 10.
"An inter-ministerial committee has been constituted to search the missing documents of the alleged coal scam. Almost 95% of documents have been traced, while search for remaining was underway.
If found, they will be handed over to CBI by September 10 and FIR would be registered for the untraceable ones,’’ Jaiswal said.
The minister was in Raipur to address the concluding ceremony of three-day 30th plenary session of Indian National Trade Union Congress.
Attacking the Uttar Pradesh government for its alleged inaction on Centre’s warnings of possible outbreak of communal clashes, Jaiswal said, "Had the UP government considered it, the incident could have been averted.”
