71-yr-man crossing road hit by truck in Ulhasnagar, dies

NEW DELHI: A 71 Year-old man was hit by a truck while crossing the road in Ulhasnagar.
The name of the deceased person is Laxman Chichariya. He was a resident of Gol Maidan area in Ulhasnagar.
According to the police, Chichariya was slowly crossing the road near school number 24 on Tuesday afternoon when suddenly a speeding truck hit him. Chichariya died on the spot.
The incident has got captured in CCTV footage in which Chichariya is seen crossing road on Chowck slowly when suddenly speeding truck passing on road hit him badly.
After this incident, to avoid the anger of the local people, the accused truck driver surrendered himself at the police station. The Ulhasnagar police have currently registered a negligence causing death case against the truck driver in this matter and have released him after issuing a notice.
