57,000 cattle dead from lumpy skin disease: Government
NEW DELHI : The Centre on Thursday said about 57,000 cattle have died so far due to ‘lumpy skin disease’ across the country and asked affected states to boost vaccination to control the disease.
Union minister for fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying Parshottam Rupala said at a press meetthat he has visited five states to assess the situation, adding ‘Goat Pox Vaccine’ is “very effective” and available.
