MUMBAI: Four members of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, including a woman, were arrested by the Mumbai police on Sunday night for their involvement in the twin blasts in the city on August 25.

MUMBAI: Four members of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), including a woman, were arrested by the Mumbai police on Sunday night for their alleged involvement in the twin blasts in the city on August 25.
Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal announced on Monday that the Mumbai police had caught four persons allegedly behind the twin blasts on August 25 and the Ghatkopar bus blast on July 28.

Syed Mohammed Hanif (45), a resident of Chinchpada at J B Nagar, Andheri (E), his wife Fahmida (37), daughter Farheen (18) and a fourth unrelated man, Arshad Shafiq Ahmed Ansari (25) were remanded to police custody till September 15 by special judge A P Bhangale on Monday.
The blasts at Mumbadevi temple and Gateway of India had killed 53 persons and injured several others.
